THE IDEA
It started with frustration. Someone showed us the work of Vietnamese designers — incredible silhouettes, fabrics that felt nothing like what you'd find back in Australia. But there was no way to buy them. No international shipping, no English sites, no sizing that made sense.
So we got on a plane.
We walked into showrooms in Saigon, met designers face to face, touched every fabric, checked every seam. If a piece wouldn't hold up to being pulled, stretched, and worn hard — it didn't make the cut. That trip became the foundation of everything Mekora is.
There's an entire generation of Vietnamese designers creating world-class fashion that nobody outside the region has access to.
OUR MISSION
We find the designers the world hasn't seen yet. We handle the logistics, the sizing, the shipping — so they can focus on what they do best, and you can wear it wherever you are.
We're not just translating products — we're telling the stories behind them and giving these designers the global platform they deserve.
